PRODUCT WARRANTY

Warranty Information: Three-Year Limited Warranty The manufacturer WARRANTS THIS PRODUCT TO BE DEFECT FREE IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.

Defective products may be returned by the original purchaser or any subsequent owner within the warranty period, postage pre-paid together with proof of purchase date to Sunpentown International.

First Year from date of purchase Limited Warranty covers parts and labor.
Second and Third Year from date of purchase Limited Warranty covers all parts and materials.

Customers may contact Manufacturer for quotation on current labor cost before repair.

Defective products will be repaired or at manufacturer's discretion, replaced at no charge including return postage. The warranty does not apply to any unit that has been tampered with, nor to damages incurred through improper use and care, faulty packing or mishandling by any common carrier.

Repairs not covered by this warranty will be performed at current cost for parts and labor plus return postage.

Manufacturer's sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty are limited to such repair or replacement.

This is a limited warranty and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights varying from state to state.

If you have a claim:
1. Do not return the product to the retailer from which it was purchased.
2. Please contact our consumer service department (1-800-330-0388 M-F 8:30 am to 5:30 pm PST) for assistance and to ensure the fastest possible resolution to the problem. Please have the model or type number of your product on hand.
3. If it is determined that you should return your product for repair or replacement, send the product along with proof of purchase date and a description of the nature of the defect to:

Be sure to include your name, address and daytime telephone number with you shipment.

*Returns must be sent with all shipping charges pre-paid. We suggest that you carefully wrap your package for shipping and send by insured or by traceable means.

What happens to my return?
If the inspection shows that the product is defective, under our Limited Warranty, Sunpentown will attempt to repair or will replace the defective part or product at no cost to you.

Comparable substitutions are based on replacement product availability and at the sole discretion of the Manufacturer. If our inspection shows that the product is not defective under our Limited Warranty we will return it to you shipping charges prepaid.

Please note that the inspection process can take 7-10 business days from receipt of your return. Replacements and/or repairs can take 4-6 weeks depending on product/part availability.

Notse about fraud:

Fraudulent purchases, including those made by identity theft, stolen cards, or cards used without the owners permission will be will be subject to prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. We quickly report such behavior to the FBI, FTC, Secret Service, and the authorities in the thief's home town (we know a thief's IP address) and then proactively work with the victims to identify and catch thieves.

Abusive and hostile returns: Abusive returns are rampant online, wherein a purchase is made with the intent of use and return for refund. Please know that we can easily detect if this product has been used, and such behavior is not tolerated. No refunds will be given if this is determined to be the case.

Chargebacks: What started as a good way to protect the customer from fraudulent merchants has become a license to steal for fraudulent customers.

Although we cannot prevent all chargebacks, we give 100% effort for 100% customer satisfaction.

Customers are protected through law, warranties, the return policy, and great customer service'; such action is viewed as hostile and is entirely un-necessary.

NOTICE: Any chargeback made will be immediately forwarded to our collections agency!

SHIPPING WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES

Refusal - In the event of you the buyer refuse delivery for any reason, you are to pay any and all shipping, storage, restocking and handling fees.

Unable to complete delivery - Carriers make every reasonable attempt to complete deliveries. As it is the responsiblity of the buyer to make themselves available for delivery and to provide accurate delivery information, should the delivery company be unable to complete delivery, you the buyer are responsible for any and all costs associated with delivery and return delivery. Genius Goods Inc will incur no expense or fees on shipping, handling, restocking, storage costs or fees or costs of any kind. Genius Goods liability for product sale is limited to the cost of the product itself only.

In addition, Genius Goods Inc makes no guarantees on the timeliness or success of the freight carrrier. The negotiation of delivery is solely and exclusively between the buyer and the shipping agent, and all liability for any costs or fees fall upon the buyer.

In no situation and under no circumstances is Genius Goods Inc liable for fees and costs associated with a return that does not involve product defect or damage. Products can be repaired or replaced depending upon the terms of product warranty and at the discretion of the manufacturer.
